MPS Systems North America confirms the sale of a new 530mm, 10-color MPS EF next generation fully automated flexographic press to Meyers, the fourth MPS machine added to their production facility. The MPS EF next generation press brings narrow web flexo printing to the 21st century with 24/7 data collection and feedback. By embracing the full potential of IoT, the EF helps MPS customers optimize production by identifying possible bottle necks and automatically suggesting areas for improvement.

“With this fully automated MPS EF next generation press equipped with a side load die station and Martin Automatic butt splicer, Meyers is adding a real ‘Label Monster’ to our production fleet,” said Donald Patterson, Meyers print manager. The partnership between the Minneapolis-based printer and MPS dates back to 2008 with the installation of Meyers’ first MPS press.
