French company SIFA purchases a second ETI Cohesio

  • Publicado el 03 de Agosto de 2017

Considering the success obtained with the ETI technology, SIFA, located in the north of France, has acquired a second ETI Cohesio, a patented technology of in-line silicone and adhesive coating, to meet its customers demand. The Cohesio technology allows for the manufacturing of pressure sensitive labels in a single in-line process: printing, applying silicone and adhesive, laminating and die-cutting, resulting in a final deliverable product.

Moreover, in order to combine efficiency and environmental concern, the new machine is equipped with the Pellicut, a high speed rotary die-cutting unit that allows the machine to die-cut on very thin liner polyester film (.72 mil) or SCK or glassine paper (20 lb), thus considerably reducing waste.

Pascal Segard, President of SIFA, explains: “Since the e-commerce enthusiasm, the ETI technology allows us to meet our customers increasing demand for self-adhesive shipping labels. Furthermore, creating our own labels, from raw material to finished product, enables us to offer our customers unbeatable prices”.

The idea launched and developed by François Bayzelon, CEO of ETI Converting nearly twenty years ago, has made its path and has revolutionized the market of the self-adhesive label in small widths. Printers, such as SIFA, believed in this technology and have embraced it. A trustworthy relationship has established between both companies.
